Original post made by Jeb Bing, editor of the Pleasanton Weekly, on Apr 17, 2009

I do not like the new look of The Pleasanton Weekly! It is more plain, boring, and dull! The traditional Pleasanton Weekly was just fine...Why change it? If it ain't broke don't fix it! Please change it back!!!!

Is this really what you are doing with your time over there? People are desperate for jobs these days and you guys aren't doing yours??? Jeb, get with the program: Your readers aren't impressed with typesets and color, page placement or spacing. We're interested in accurate reporting of the happenings in Pleasanton...even those that you disagree with. Is this why the Pleasanton Tea Party wasn't accurately depicted in writing or the most important community gathering wasn't placed "front and center" on page 1? Am I expecting too much of this town's reporters and their editor?

Wow that's some venom 'Really Jeb'. I've done a webpage for a year and understand all the tiny decisions that have to be made. It's maddening. First of all it looks fine. Ihave some ideas but all and all it's a good site.

Happy,

I believe this article was about the new look of the print copy of the PW, not the website.
