We have gone every Saturday night for years to (old name - Garlic di Pasta) new name ??(La Vite??). We know all the waitresses by name- many of them are teachers who are moonlighting, one was an M.D. in China. We have always had wonderful food and wonderful service.

La Vite Ristorante(formerly Glaric de' Pasta) restraunt is my choice for the best, in quality, quantity, service and atmosphere.
The waitresses are the best for friendliness and service.
The cost for each meal is lower than other comparable restraunts in Pleasanton.
My wife and I go each Saturday evening and have for past several years.

Can I ask what people see in Vic's All Star Kitchen at the end of Main Street? I have been there many times for family brunches and everytime the food is horrible. I have had dirty silverware many times as well luke warm to cold food. I have heard manh people rave about this place but I honestly don't see what people like about it. And how come all I see is female servers? Is Vic sexiest? That place is similar to a restraunt in Santa Rosa called Omelette Express in Old Railroad Square.

My thoughts too when people voted Alberto's as the best Mexican food in the past. Apparently the people who voted have never had real Mexican food. I guess they just like the atmosphere enough to ignore the food.

Pans on Fire is ablaze with color, innovation and creativity. When I visited during the Farmers Market on a recent Saturday, Pans on Fire complemented my fresh food selections with fun and interesting serving dishes and cookware. I snuck a peek at the large kitchen area that is opening soon for classes. Owners Linda and Tina talked to me knowledgeably about dishes I could serve that are easy to prepare yet interesting and tasty for my guests. Let's just say my reputation for homecooked food is rising dramatically. Pans on Fire is the best kind of store to keep downtown lively and attractive. They should win first place.
