Stolen Dog
Crimes & Incidents, posted by Missing my Dog, a resident of the Stoneridge neighborhood, on Aug 23, 2007 at 4:08 pm

I live in the spring house apartments on stoneridge drive. Yesterday someone stole my dog off my patio!!!! She was out there because I was cleaning my grill and i let her out for a moment. She is very friendly and just 20 minutes before she went missing these guys were admiring her! They were saying how cute she was, and his girlfriend had a dog like that before so on and so on. She is 2 years old, she is a shitzu mix( she is brown and white), her name is Brandy and she had a rhinestone collar on. I know she didnt run away becuase she has gotten out before but stays around my door. Is this what goes on in pleasanton! So sad.

The perpetrators of this henious crime should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

To the extent that Pleasanton, a self-styled "community of character", has experienced many cases of animal abuse in the past several years, the animal abuse should be treated as a felony. Animal abusers must be required to be examined by a psychiatrist, and be required to wear a tracking cuff. The animal abuser of today is the child abuser, spouse abuser, etc. of tomorrow
