Celebrating the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Fire Department

The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department is being honored this month with a series of events, including a Fireman's Muster on Main Street in downtown Pleasanton, "An Evening with Pleasanton Firefighters" at the Firehouse Arts Center, and "Courage Under Fire," an exhibit at Museum on Main.

What a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history of our fire department and its transition from an all-volunteer organization of civic-minded residents to one of the highest paying employers in the state.

for the Taxpayer comment-get over it--
these men and ladies deserve it.

I too am a tax payer-probably pay more then you in taxes yet you don't see me complaining.
