Kay Jewelers at Paragon Outlets hit by burglars

A jewelry store in the Premium Outlets (formerly Paragon) in Livermore was robbed early Monday morning, police said. They received a glass break alarm at 3:40 a.m. inside the Kay Jewelers at 2774 Paragon Outlets Drive.

I saw the security tape on 11:00 news last night. Surely they know they are on film. They specifically went to certain cases, not others, like they might have 'cased' the place.

The on-duty private security is paid to do what exactly?

I work at the outlet. Security is pathetic. They shouldn't have to risk their lives, but they are slow to respond to calls from stores and basically do nothing. Management is even worse. We had two bomb threats one day and they did not evacuate saying they would wait for a third threat. One of the restaurants had their safe carted off in what looked like an inside job. The stories I could tell......

I wonder if outlet 3 were caught. This morning's Contra Costa time reported THREE robbers, who were robbing Santa Rosa jewelry store were caught yesterday. It might be the same 3. I hope the police departments are sharing with each other.
