Swalwell is basically another politician liar. He campaigned on being middle of the road and yet he already has fallen right in line with the hard core left. They have him pushing the gun control legislation, thereby controlling him from the outset. He is in way over his head. I've seen him at 3 functions since he took office...you should see the dregs of our local politicians fawning over him trying to schmooze him for local money, etc...nothing has changed....

stark is an old nutty statist. swalwell is a young statist. the beliefs and policies of stark and swalwell are almost identical there will be little progress.

I glad we have a representative who advocates a strong, active federal government. It was the actions of the United States Treasury, combined with those of the Federal Reserve, and congress' American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that kept the country from falling into a deep depression that would have hit the poorest and the weakest among us the hardest. It was also Henry Paulson's quick and decisive actions at the Treasury that kept out financial institutions solvent at the most desperate times.

We're lucky to have a man like Swalwell representing us.
