I asked you all for recommendations on CPA's/Tax Preparers since ours has recently retired. I got a few that said Thompsen and DePretis - when I checked into them - I found they charge about $350 MORE than our previous CPA....yikes!
Someone mentioned Tom Pico and that he had an office behind the old Domus - does anyone have that phone number or better yet e-mail address????

For ccwc -- if the first question out of your mouth is "how much do you charge?" then you deserve whatever level of incompetence you end up with. Why don't you ask things like how long have you been in business? Are you available year round? Have you even had any ethics violations? How many hours of education do you get every year? Are you an enrolled agent or do you just hang out your shingle to do taxes?
