Services planned for Joyce Le Clair Scheidig, Pleasanton's first City Councilwoman

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, for Joyce Le Clair Scheidig, Pleasanton's first elected councilwoman, who died Aug. 9 at her home in Walnut Creek. She was 75 years old.

I remember Joyce (and Ken) Le Clair/Scheidig very well; she was a beautiful and very classy lady. She helped make Pleasanton a better place. She will be missed, and our thoughts and prayers are extended to her family.
