Pleasanton donations can be made at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Blood donations typically decline during the summer months, especially around the Independence Day holiday.
To help prevent a summer blood shortage, donors are urged to make an appointment to donate with the American Red Cross. This is one of a large number of Interfaith blood drives taking place throughout the Bay Area in the month of July. Donors can drop in or register at www.redcrossblood.org (use donor code "InterfaithCommunity") or call 1-800-REDCROSS to make an appointment.
Donations can be made from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6001 Paseo Santa Cruz, in Pleasanton.
For information on eligibility, contact the Red Cross at (866) 236-3276.
