17-day fair closes with attendance up 22%

Searing heat with temperatures hovering near the 100 degree mark for several days didn't stop the 475,762 visitors to this year's Alameda County Fair.

I read that we're 49th on the list for 2012 and 2013. As summer isn't over yet, I doubt the 2014 North American attendance records have been calculated. Web Link
