At last, we're getting a second dog park

Original post made on Jun 27, 2014

There are 26,800 dogs in Pleasanton and if they could vote, they would have had the city's second dog park in town long ago -- and probably quite a few more. As it is, they and their owners will have to be content with a decision by the City Council last week to spend $300,000 to build an off-leash dog park on a two-acre site at the Lagoon Road/Bernal Avenue staging area of the Marilyn Murphy Kane Trail.

What's ironic is this council is moving another dog park forward when, I believe,Councilman Pentin is the only member of the 5 with a dog.

Good, another place to be filled up with doggie poop. Does that mean all of you walkers, who think my yard is the personal bathroom for your dogs, will take the dogs there instead?
