Comp Civics families know the absolutely insane amount of time, teamwork and dedication it takes from every member to compete, let alone get to the national level. This experience will certainly change your life--and perhaps ours--as you go on to become leaders and advocates in our community. Congratulations to all the members, teachers and coaches! We are SO PROUD of all of you!

Chris Miller and the members of the Rotary Club of Pleasanton salute the Amador Valley High School Competition Civics Club for their outstanding accomplishment of placing second in the National Competition in Washington, D.C. We salute Brian Ladd and all the other folks that assisted in the many, many hours of coaching and preparing the team members first in the competition within California and then the intense preparation on the road to Washington. Way to go Competition Civics team you made Amador Valley High School and the entire community of Pleasanton very, very proud of your success.
