On the brighter side: it's possible that Macy's, JCPenney and Nordstrom have openings for new employees.

Yes, I agree alot of this is due to BART. We invite these sorts to come to our lovely mall.
I am glad this was published so we can be aware of who these people are and how they do this.

Well, all I know is, that in my new-found mall-robbin' career, I choose BART as my getaway car, every time. A good, brisk 11-minute escape walk from that phat Stoneridge easy-moneytown, and if I hit it juuuust right, and the train's on-time, and I have the fare, and there are none of those pesky BART cops around ... why, I can be in Fruitvale Station in just five stops and a half-hour. No sweat!

Look out, world -- life of crime, here I come! BART and I'm there!

Well, I guess that it's possible that these Macy's, JC Penney, and Nordstrom employees who embezzled did ride BART into work.

Macy's, JC Penney and Nordstrom need to rethink their hiring practices. In times past, they used to have higher caliber employees. Now it seems they are hiring much less qualified people, probably because they have become cheapskates. So, these stores are dealing with the consequences of their own greed. It is much less pleasurable to shop at Stoneridge these days because the sales clerks are not properly trained and so many of them have poor English skills. Plus, lots more thugs roaming around and trolling the parking lots.

Tens of thousands of Americans/residents speak English with an accent. I find that delightful and would ask native born Americans to be appreciative and patient when encountering individuals who may be difficult to understand.

Macy's, JC Penny, and Nordstrom's might consider providing conversational business English classes for their employees.

Does anyone know if the above stores are unionized?

just asking...

...and just what difference would unionization have on theft??? cholo, are you admitting unions commit more crimes than harassing and lies to workers and lies in the press??

Hey y'all..lets all just settle down and cool our fingers off a bit...let us be smarter than that which wastes such valuable tick's and irreplacible toc's off the unknown personal contracts we are fulfilling on Earth...utilizing the latest, greatest and fastest filler known to man/woman-kind..I will now "paste" what I have "cut" from some of the same debates in history that were already written so we can get back to enjoying some up close and personal hands-on-hugging-loving-giving a damn type attention to our future leaders to keep them from making these headlines someday (yes even that saggy pants punk of a son needs love!)

The mall used to be a pleasant place before the construction of the BART station right across the street. Now there are dozens of people who, well...obviously aren't from around here. I can't tell you how many young men I've passed in Stoneridge who have their pants around their knees practically and reek of marijuana, not saying that Pleasanton kids have not portrayed these foul descriptions. BART across from Stoneridge has made it too easy for hoodlums from Oakland, Richmond, and Hayward to come to our mall and commit theft and vandalism.

There are numbers crimes that have been committed by locals:

Web Link His father is also guilty of crimes.

There's even a guy who murdered his parents. Not to mention other nasty crimes by sex predators...quite a few live in Plutonia!

Lemmie I recall, there was even an Irish Catholic priest who exposed to the cops in Oakland.

hmmmmmmmmmmm...let me do a bit more research...OK?

There are dozens of crimes that have been committed in Plutonia by Plutonians.

There really is no need to describe racial/ethnic minorities unless you know beyond a reasonable doubt that crimes against innocent Americans cross all racial/ethnic/color lines.

30 Year Pleasanton Resident,

I actually laugh when I see these kids with their pants down below their butts as they do not know where the practice originated and if they did they would not wear them that low.

The practice started and still exists in the California prison system. It is a signal to other prisoners that the person wearing their pants low is willing to take it in the behind in return for protection from other prisoners. In essence a prison sex slave.

I don't find that the implication of wearing ones trousers in prison means that one is in "essence a prison sex slave".

The brutality and sexually transmitted diseases is nothing to laugh about.

Unless it is, please explain what is so humorous.
