2 Killed by Bart Train: Who Was Driving the Train?

Original post made by Harvey Seagal, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Oct 19, 2013

Well, the right-wing dingbats have been clamoring for days about how skill isn't needed to drive the Bart trains. Hey, fire 'em all and let the managers drive until minimum wage replacement are found! After all, there isn't any skill needed. These Bart workers are waaaaaaay overpaid. And this strike only inconveniences the commuters, not the workers one bit.

Now we have this recent report:

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (AP) — Police from the San Francisco Bay Area's rapid transit system say two employees performing maintenance have been struck and killed by a train.

Saturday afternoon's accident on a track in Walnut Creek comes amid a strike by Bay Area Rapid Transit workers that has shut the system down. But some trains were being moved by managers.

It was unclear how the 1:45 p.m. accident occurred. BART Deputy Police Chief Ben Fairow confirmed the deaths to the Contra Costa Times (Web Link ). The newspaper said there are two tarps on the tracks about 150 yards apart.

The deaths of two BART employees is shockingly TRAGIC. May they Rest In Peace.

Hopefully, there will be a local, state, and federal investigation in the horrific deaths of the two dedicated BART employees.

Who was driving the train that killed the BART employees?

WERE THE EMPLOYEES WHO WERE KILLED MANAGEMENT OR UNION MEMBERS?

How much training did the train operator have prior to operating a BART train?

Tomorrow, I will begin interviewing BART riders and send my interviews to the national and the British media.

All Bay Area TV stations, newspapers have already been notified.

I have also forwarded all posts from the Pleasanton Weekly Online to all local newpapers/reporters.

Tonight I will read Hayom Yom for comfort and guidance.

TRAGIC TRAGIC TRAGIC

How come the deaths of two BART employees happened?

Explanation please. Hopefully, BART will be SUED by the families of the dead employees.

MAY THE REST IN PEACE.

How can the families of the killed BART employees be fairly compensated? It is NOT possible to fairly compensate the family. Who will pay their rent? Medical Bills. Funeral costs? Will BART provide therapy for the survivors? For how long? Who is going to pay for the future educational needs of the surviving children?

What is the level of education of the killed BART employees? Salaries?

How many hours of actual training did the train driver have prior to driving the train? How many hours of supervised training did the driver of the train have prior to killing the BART employee? How recent was the driver's training? Did the train driver have the required 3 months of supervised training recently. Dates please.

Will the surviving family members have to pay their fair share if they wish to continue to maintain a Health Plan? How much will the family have to pay monthly for the rest of their lives?

Is this an example of UNION BUSTING?

Two BART employees killed - the union was under time pressure or they would lose it all...how come they had to die?

I guess two employees did lose it all...so did their families and friends...no husband, no father, everybody grieving except the BART management team.

What next? More deaths on the way?

DID BART MANAGEMENT CONTRIBUTE IN ANY WAY TO THE DEATHS OF TWO LOYAL UNION EMPLOYEES? WE WILL ALL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE. CAN ANYBODY COUNT ON THE TRUTH?

If the killed employees did not have a BA/MA from a college/university, were they more expendable?

just asking...
