The truth is...Web Link

CNN anchor asks Harry Reid about GOP proposal to restore funding to NIH, National Institutes of Health:

CNN: if you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldn't you do it?

REID: Why would we want to do that?

HARRY REID: Listen, Sen. Durbin explained that very well, and he did it here, did it on the floor earlier, as did Sen. Schumer. What right did they have to pick and choose what part of government is going to be funded? It's obvious what's going on here. You talk about reckless and irresponsible. Wow. What this is all about is Obamacare. They are obsessed. I don't know what other word I can use. They're obsessed with this Obamacare. It's working now and it will continue to work and people will love it more than they do now by far. So they have no right to pick and choose.

Most Republicans don't believe in science. They don't believe in evolution; they don't believe in global warming; and they have consistently attempted to reduce budget of NIH. Now they want to open up NIH but continue to defund SNAP and children having adequate food? This Republican swill invites nothing but derisive laughter.

Sorry, Hank, I meant to reply to your rant earlier, but i was rolling on the floor laughing. When the dems can't produce a budget in more than 4 years, of course the adults have to step in and determine what gets funded. Your amateur in chief is too busy tilting at windmills and going on ideological crusades, that he has failed to lead or follow the Constitution.
In the next 10 years, the country will be another 1.3 trillion in debt just due to obamacare. So, yes, we all have the right to pick and choose what's best for the country....the most recent gallup polls show a majority are against the implementation of obamacare.

"it will continue to work and people will love it more than they do now by far." You can't honestly believe your own drivel, hank. You're too funny...

May the fight to SHUT DOWN the US government continue FOREVER! It allows more CRUCIAL legislation to proceed.

There is no way that your elected government is capable of stopping illegal entry from Latin America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. There's minimal data re: the 30 million men, women, and children who have arrived illegally and are presently living and working within our borders.

Millions are receiving increased benefits, green cards, free medical care, free food, and a free American education!

I suggest that Americans fight fight fight and keep on fighting with each other and your elected officials. Argue ideology!

Like I said, it allows the more crucial social "problems" to be resolved. As I see it, the more in-house fighting, the more "illegals" win rights!!!

VIVA AMERICA! VIVA! GORA!

Cholo, as long as the second amendment is in place, none of us fear your illegal invasion. This is exactly why the NRA wants to keep assault weapons available to US citizens. Time to go finish my target practice.......
