When we found out about the renovations we were very excited about the potential for some new pool features. However, we were disappointed that they did not include any "fun" or family-friendly upgrades. It would have been great if they had installed a "splash pad" or water play structure similar to the features at the Community Pools in Livermore and San Ramon. We will continue to swim at those pools and enjoy the features they offer.

The project was completed in a timely manner; however, I don't believe it was well thought out. In addition to omitting a family friendly splash pool, there is actually a reduction in water surface area because the diving pool was filled in. A small diving area was constructed on the side of the 25-meter pool but does not come anywhere close to replacing the much bigger diving pool which was lost.

May children and others who enjoy swimming have a great time!
