Antioch man found dead near hiking trail in Sunol wilderness

The Alameda County coroner's bureau yesterday identified a 39-year-old Antioch man whose body was found near a creek in the Sunol Regional Wilderness in unincorporated Alameda County Saturday afternoon.

I recently enjoyed a hike at Sunol and noticed a couple of bums walking up the path. They looked pretty stoned and aged - one guy had no shirt on and no teeth. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the man died of an overdose or something.

Yes, he looked like a bum and was pretty old. And based on our brief conversation I would say either drunk and/or stoned. It's not a judgement LISA; more like an observation.
