| A new exhibition at the Firehouse Arts Center's Harrington Gallery in Pleasanton that opened Wednesday, called "California: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Life," will continue through April 6.
The exhibit features paintings and mixed media pieces by Engela Olivier-Wilson, sculpture and 3D works by Matthew Nylander, and photography of California by William F. Hackett.
The exhibition examines natural California from the disparate perspectives of the three artists, with their diverse origins, experiences, and media, and is dedicated to the Host Nations of California.
The Firehouse Arts Center is located at 4444 Railroad Avenue, Pleasanton. Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
