Pleasanton seeks 2 at-large representatives for its East Pleasanton Specific Plan task force
Deadline Feb. 8 to file applications to serve on group guiding planning efforts for 1,000-acre site

Applications are currently being accepted for two at-large members for the East Pleasanton Specific Plan Task Force.
The Task Force will guide the planning effort for an approximate 1,000-acre area in east Pleasanton which was formerly the site of sand and gravel mining. The Task Force will propose new uses and a circulation system for the site, and will recommend a plan to provide and finance the necessary infrastructure.
All applicants shall be residents of the city of Pleasanton and willing to attend at least one or two meetings per month for a period of one year or more. The City seeks task force members who are able to do background reading and research, work collaboratively, and strive for clear communication, a balanced perspective and inclusion of a wide range of viewpoints.
Interested parties should submit completed applications to the City Clerk's office by 4:30 p.m. Feb. 8.
