A 28-year-old man was found shot to death near a golf course in Livermore Sunday morning, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a man down near Galaxy Court and Springtown Golf Course at 7:220 a.m., according to Livermore police.

A female jogger discovered the body of a man with multiple gunshot wounds near a bicycle path and yelled to a resident to call 911, police said.
Responding paramedics declared the victim dead at the scene.

The victim was later identified as Kenneth Robert Ogden, of Livermore. There was no indication that the homicide was gang related, police said. Police did not release further details pending an ongoing investigation.
