Rain is expected in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley this morning, with a chance of showers again this afternoon. Highs are likely to be in the upper 60s.
That's quite different from the 90 degree temperature here on this date in 1964, a record high.
The National Weather Bureau is calling for high temperatures today to reach 62 degrees and a high of 65 degrees for tomorrow. The rain will end and temperatures will return into the 70s and possibly higher starting Friday and for the coming weekend.
The chance of showers tonight is 60%, dropping to 40% tomorrow, the weather bureau predicted. Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
