Studio Seven Arts on Pleasanton's Main Street is featuring a special art exhibition for March focused on spring-time themes of home and garden.
Artists who will show a diversity of works and pieces include Kieren Dutcher, a painter specializing in the gouache medium; oil painter Pat Devitt, who explores light and foliage; Carol Massier and her garden art, and abstract paintings from acclaimed artists Corey West and Courtney Jacobs.
• The exhibit, which is opened Saturday, featured Dutcher demonstrating touching on light hearted art inspired by children. Next Saturday, Patricia Devitt will explore various forms of light and foliage through her oil paintings.
• On Saturday, March 16, Carol Massier will feature her garden art; on March 23, the abstract paintings by Courtney Jacobs will be on exhibit, with the March program closing on Saturday March 30 with an exhibit of abstract paintings by Corey West.
"The 'Refresh' exhibition welcomes the new season with light-hearted fine art with artists that are truly masters in their individual crafts," said Dirk Christensen, owner of Studio Seven Arts. "Visitors to the gallery can view genuine originals that embody personality and creativity."
