Welcome to the inaugural post of LOL (Lessons on Laughter). They say that laughter is the best medicine, and my aim is to prescribe and dole out dosages of the stuff like hospitals hand out Vicodin. This venue isn't just for laughter though--no, I also aim to induce more sophisticated fare such as the chortle, giggle, chuckle, snicker, guffaw, and perhaps the occasional wheezing from laughing too hard. To swear myself into this honorable position, I promise to be tastefully irreverent and indiscriminately full of mockery--a crusader on a quest for the embarrassing, the clever, the almost Darwin awards, and any video of a cat chasing a laser pointer. I solemnly swear on Monty Python and Mel Brooks that I will uphold my mission to bring silliness to the masses to the best of my ability. So please, Ladies and Gentlemen, leave grumpy faces and Debbie Downers at the metaphorical door, and take your medicine.

Nothing more clear to many of us with substantial life experience? Than the gift, benefit of laughter...The most medicinal of ALL "medicines" in this life. Something much of youth must learn to do as they go their own path, that's for sure!
